@rjquillin That’s cool! My brother-in-law (or technically wife’s sister’s husband) did that but is retired now. I know one was on a Mars Rover, though not sure which one. Apparently a lot of other stuff might have been secret, as you might be aware.
I worked on testing semiconductors for my entire career, mostly things like memory in your phone or tablet or SSD, and SD cards. Was a fun ride but retired after 40 years recently.
Message to “kids these days” – get into Tech stuff and find a good team of people to work with, whether with a big or small company. Sorry, not likely to be the party-days or stock-option bonanza of old Silicon Valley (unless you are very very lucky).
To bring back to real-time, building a raised garden bed is a more likely option. Last time I got stuff for it, it’s still sitting unassembled outside.

Sweet. I was hands on for four cameras on the recent 2020 rover. Fun gig, great people to work with.
