What’s fun (for me) about llamas is the double-l at the start of their name. If the question had been about alpacas I would have had to vote for “great”, as someone near us has some and lets us gather their manure (which some gardeners refer to as “black gold”) for our garden.
@Mark_L In that case I would like to go to Mallorca. Not sure about gathering the poop, but if I get a good rate at the bed-and-breakfast that would be fine. Wait, it’s all just fertilizer, no big deal.
BTW on some streaming services there is a crime detective show based in Mallorca. Kind-of light; pretty scenery. How did this relate to Llamas?.
Best thing for me (being an ex-goat as many of us are) was that Llamas voluntarily become shepherds of a herd (of goats). I guess that would be a goatherd not a shepherd.
So sometimes people “rent” goats because they are great at clearing underbrush including thorny berry vines they seem to enjoy. But if there are coyotes around they might enjoy a taste of goat. A guardllama or two, as they call them, will protect the herd. I hear they are pretty bad-ass.
