Settesoli’s family of growers have been passionately caring for their vineyards in coastal Sicily for generations. Grapes are carefully harvested under the warm Sicilian sun, ensuring the wine has the heart and soul of this unique territory. The 2022 Settesoli Nero d’Avola comes from Menfi, a seaside paradise where vineyards roll down to the Mediterranean and bask in nearly 300 days of sunshine each year.
Full-bodied and persistent, with a bright ruby red color, it offers decisive hints of ripe morello cherry and plum. On the palate, it is soft and velvety. There is a core sweetness that tells you this is from the island of seven suns.
Cantine Settesoli, a cooperative of over 2,000 families farming 6,000 hectares across diverse soils, brings that heritage into the cellar. Grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness, fermented in stainless steel for freshness, and given a short rest on fine lees to add subtle texture—allowing the fruit to shine at its best.

@wine69 well I’m kind of with you on this, but I will say Big Hammer Wines, the retail arm of distributor/importer One Vine Wines where I’m guessing this came from, currently is offering at $32.99 on sale from $35.00
@kaolis I understand, but still. If someone out there is typically paying $35/bottle of Sicilian Nero, please reach out to me offline and I will introduce you to Google and Wine Searcher and that will change you Nero buying habits forever!

“Typically $35/bottle from Cantine Settesoli”…That’s just insulting and akin to calling us all “idiots”
