Not really. At least the inexpensive ones that I’ve had. They have a flavor component that reminds me of CdP and Pinotage, that I do not like.

Check out the South American section at your local wine shop. It’s a common varietal in Chile.
There is quite a bit of history with it (mistaken for merlot in Chile for a while). Many have an overwhelming green pepper flavor which many find offputting. But I have had some that were very good.
