Ladybug larvae are pretty fierce looking, and despite the internet suggesting they don’t bite, I worked in cornfields for several summers and we were all pretty sure they did. We were also disturbing their homes and food, so a few bites probably make sense.
@mschuette@ttboy23 Around here (central Missouri, but I’ve seen them throughout the midwest) we are often inundated by Asian Lady Beetles (Ladybug look-alikes) in the fall. They are known to bite.

If you have your own garden, lady bugs are great because they devour aphids.
